SFUSA Welcomes the Open Frame Carport and Solar Pavilion to Our Line of Carports and Canopies
 This year, Solar Foundations USA is proud to unveil two new solutions to join the canopy and carport lines: the Open Frame Carport and Solar Pavilion. Both structures provide a functional, versatile, and cost-effective solution to any home or business. With standard and custom configurations available, these new solutions can pose a variety of purposes. Whether it be coverage for your vehicle, equipment storage, a shady picnic area, or weather protection, these structures can do it all!

| The pavilion’s open bay design sets it apart from Solar Foundations’ Utility Carport and Standard Ground Mount configurations. Each of the four corners of the pavilion consists of three piles spaced in an “L” configuration two feet apart. There are several intermediate horizontal braces welded between the outside piles that create rigid corners for support. This method allows us to eliminate the diagonal bracing in the middle of the array, creating a space for easy people flow or storage. |
Open Frame Carports are an excellent installation option for residential or light commercial settings. Not only will your homeowner or business generate clean power, but employees, customers, and family members will appreciate the vehicle coverage provided by the carport. Solar Foundations can adjust specific components to account for more parking spaces, such as to add a third support beam or modify the braced and open bay placements. |

Welcome to the Team, Catelyn and Sean!
 SFUSA is thrilled to announce two new team members to the New York office this year: Sean Hnath and Catelyn Linendoll. Sean is our newest Product Design Engineer, and Catelyn assists the project management team.
Sean is responsible for researching and developing ideas and processes for new products, improvements upon the performance and design of existing products, and overseeing production of final products. He is also in charge of providing support for manufacturing equipment and field/mobile equipment.
Catelyn is responsible for assisting in developing project designs, managing the project database, and ensuring timely completion of project installation reports and filing of project completion documentation. Catelyn also assists in posting online content on the company’s website and social media accounts.

Here is the good news...Solar Foundations USA installs all year long. Our equipment has the capability to install piles through the frost layer with no issues. The frozen ground often makes driving on the grass very easy with little lawn damage.
However, with the cold comes snow. Let's discuss how your company needs to prepare the site so the ground mount installation is feasible once the SFUSA crew arrives.
