Columbia, SC, February 1, 2018 – Solar Foundations USA, Inc. is pleased to announce the expansion of installation services into the state of Florida. With the addition of Florida, Solar Foundations now offers service in seventeen states, growing the company’s presence in the Southeast.

The Sunshine State has tremendous solar potential, averaging around 70% of sunshine throughout the year. Florida is ranked tenth in the nation based on the cumulative amount of solar electric capacity installed through 2017, with 156,678 homes presently powered by solar.1 Solar Foundations is looking forward to working with companies in the area to continue giving homeowners the benefits of zero-fuel cost solar generation for years to come.

Solar Foundations’ new branch location in South Carolina further enables the company’s cost-effective ground mount racking structures to be installed in the southeast region by providing local inventory and enhancing installation availability from SFUSA crews.

Multiple Solar Foundations ground mount racking structures can be spotted in the Sunshine State. Over the last fall and winter season, the company’s racking structures were installed in West Palm Beach, Polk City, and De Leon Springs, as well as scheduled installations ready to go in Wimauma, Wildwood, Chuluota, and Winter Haven later this year.
